Spring fashion show is here

SPARTA — Sparta Friends & Neighbors is hosting its annual Spring Fashion Show & Luncheon at the Lafayette House on Tuesday, March 30. The event begins with a vendor boutique at 10:30 a.m., showcasing products and services from local vendors. The luncheon and fashion show follow at noon with fashions being provided by Coldwater Creek. There will also be door prizes awarded. Tickets are available at Sparta Books and Tweed in the Theater Center. Ticket prices are $32 through March 15 and $35 thereafter. A group of 10 tickets is available at the discounted price of $300. All are welcome, so please join us at this fun and exciting fundraiser. The funds raised from this year’s event will benefit Project Graduation at Sparta High School and the Character Counts program in Sparta Schools. Project Graduation is a program offered to all graduating seniors at Sparta High School. Immediately following the ceremonies the students are bused off site for an evening of fun, food and entertainment in order to provide a substance-free celebration. Character Counts is a program designed to educate Elementary and Middle School children on the alternatives to violence and the elements of good character.
