Skylands Stadium to hold North Jersey’s largest boat show

Skylands Stadium announced that it will hold the first-ever Skylands Boat Show at the stadium April 10, 11 and 12.

North Jersey’s premier boat show will feature speed, water ski and pontoon boats, kayaks, canoes, Jet Ski rentals, boat coverings, propeller repair and more. The event will take place indoors at the stadium, rain or shine.

Presented by Royal Buick GMC, the show will be held in the newly renovated Event Center at Skylands Stadium, 94 Championship Place, Augusta. All are welcome to come and meet local dealers and enjoy the show from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 12.

“North Jersey’s premier boat show is a great way to kick off the boating season, putting winter firmly behind us. Come and get a jump on the season with great deals on a range of brands, including Nautique, Sweetwater and Bennington pontoon boats. See displays of Hurricane deck boats, Mercury motors and more,” said Al Dorso, president of Skylands Stadium. “Kayak and canoe fans can check out products from Wilderness Systems, Dagger and Mad River.”

Vendors such as Batten the Hatches, PWC Tec Jet Ski rentals, Kymer’s Campgrounds and Precision Propeller will be showcasing everything that boaters need to start having fun on the water. Boat dealers such as OffShore Marine, Katz’s Marine, Lake Hopatcong Marine, Barnes Brother’s Marina, Defeo’s Boats, Danforth’s Marina and Wheels and Props will also be in attendance. Boaters of all ages are encouraged to attend the boat show to get the best deals on this year’s newest boating equipment.

The stadium’s food concessions will be open, offering an array of snacks and meals, including pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, French fries, onion rings, hot pretzels, popcorn and more. Beer, soda and fresh brewed ice tea will also be available.

Parking for the event is free, and children 12 years of age and under enter the show for free. All others will be charged a $5 entry fee.
