Seniors invited to tea in Lafayette

Lafayette — Sussex County YMCA’s Active Older Adults (AOA) are preparing for Tinsel Time, a holiday luncheon to be held at the Lafayette House in Olde Lafayette Village on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and pre-registration is required. The ticket price is $22 and includes a full course meal, dancing courtesy of DJ Brandon of Vernon, games and door prizes. At the luncheon, current AOA members will have the opportunity to reflect on a very successful year of activities and welcome new or prospective members. AOA days held at the Y this past year provided seniors with water aerobics, chair yoga, country line dancing and potluck Lunch & Learn sessions with prominent guest speakers from the area.
