Scrabble scrimmage will benefit literacy

Newton — Literacy Volunteers of Sussex County will hold its fifth Scrabble Scrimmage at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Sussex County Community College, in the Building D cafeteria. The cost is $25 per person, or $15 for seniors and students. Funds from the scrimmage will support the work of the 85 people who volunteer for tutoring. There will be prizes and refreshments.
