Presentation will focus on native plants

Vernon Dennis Miranda, chairman of the Vernon Township Environmental Commission, will lead a seminar on native plants at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, May 17 in the municipal building. An advisory body to the land-use board, the commission is hosting the event in its mission to educate the public about environmental topics in the township. This event is part of the Destination: Vernon series. Miranda has over 10 years experience in design and implementation of native gardens including his own.
