Nature walks at Lusscroft Farm herald spring

Wantage — Three nature walks are scheduled for Lusscroft Farm on March 15, April 19, and Aug. 23. The Sunday, March 15 walk is for the Awakening of Spring, to explore the marshland and vernal pools, homes of the Northern Spring Peeper. The Earth Day walk on Sunday, April 19 will feature spectacular views of the Kittatinny Valley. During the Sunday, Aug. 23 walk participants see where water begins its journey to the Hudson River and eventually New York City. Each walk will begin at 2 p.m. in front of Lusscroft Farm’s Turner Mansion, located at 50 Nielson Road in Wantage.
