Museum will exhibit Gibson plates

Jefferson Township — A privately owned antique set of C. D. Gibson plates will be on public display for one day only at the Jefferson Township Museum, on Sunday, Feb. 1, from 1 to 4 p.m. The plates are part of the private collection of museum curator, Lynda MacDonald. She will be available to discuss the collection and answer questions. Also on display will be Vol.2, C. D. Gibson, which is a large book of Gibson’s personal illustrations. Carol Keppel, museum director, and members of the historical society will also be available throughout the day to conduct tours of the museum.
