Monster truck event collect toys for local children

Monster truck rides at the Chatterbox toy drive took guests out into the corn fields spinning donuts all in good fun.

AUGUSTA — Don Hall, owner of the Chatterbox Restaurant and Ideal Farms held a Monster Truck event to gather toys this past weekend, Dec. 1 and 2. Car enthusiasts who donated a new, unwrapped toy or a $5 contribution to the Chatterbox Restaurant were allowed to ride in the monster truck in the unused fields at Ideal Farms. All proceeds benefitted the Season of Hope Holiday Toy Drive for Sussex County children. Sean Oblen of Hackettstown donated his monster truck rides and time for the event.
Lines were steady for the rides as the toy and monetary donations were made.
