    Local musicians to play at Spring Street venue

NEWTON — Newton-based musicians Leo LaBarge and Joe Steinwand will perform together at the SpringBoard Shoppes at Newton, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. LaBarge and Steinwand are veteran musicians who adopted music for themselves at an early age, and have never stopped playing, performing or writing. Both currently work with other premier Sussex County musicians in Perfect Angle, a musical creative writing and recording project based at Steinwand Sound Studios in Newton. Music at the SpringBoard Shoppes at Newton endeavors to provide a wide variety of free, live performance on Saturday afternoons in downtown Newton. In addition to performers for The SpringBoard Shoppes lobby, it arranges some of the music performances for Main Street Newton’s 2nd Saturday evenings.
