Live Celtic Music at Andre's on St. Patrick's Day

| 30 Sep 2011 | 08:01

Celeste Aldridge will perform at Andre’s Restaurant in Newton on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, with doors opening at 5 p.m. Aldridge’s performance begins at 6 p.m. Aldridge is a vocalist who began her singing career in the Celtic, British and American folk tradition, inspired by an early introduction to the music through her work at Shanachie Records. Her recent popularity, highlighted during an appearance on Homegrown Music Series, a PBS radio station program, and other regional radio and press reviews, is due to the strong visual and story-telling quality of her music. She will be accompanied by Paul E. Mitchell on guitar. Small plates will be available and a three-course dinner featuring Andre’s take on Irish classics will be served for $45.
