WARWICK — On Sunday, Sept. 9, at 5 p.m., percussionist Dan Haskins will once again join the Serenade Quartet - violinists Krista Bennion Feeney and Keats Dieffenbach, Jessica Troy on viola and John Feeney on bass in the last concert of the season at Pacem in Terris.
John Feeney has created an arrangement of "Saint-Saens" and "Danse Macabre Poeme Symphonique” that will allow Haskins to recreate the original percussion part.
Bennion Feeney will perform Bach's “Chaccone” as well as part of the “Art of the Fugue” and the last unfinished “Chorale” that he dictated on his death bed line by line to his son-in-law.
Organizers described this as "a concert of concerts and a must hear."
Pacem in Terris is a not-for-profit organization under the Education Laws of the State of New York, located at 96 Covered Bridge Road in Warwick.
Tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. on site, rain or shine, with a suggested donation of $15.
