Augusta Sweet scents of spring are filling the magnificent new sun-drenched Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds as exhibitors prepare for the 13th annual Springfest Flower & Garden Show, from March 12-15. Produced by volunteers who share a passion for plants and gardening, the non-profit show benefits agricultural incentives and scholarships. Fondly known as ‘the garden lover’s flower show,’ Springfest showcases garden displays, merchants, lectures, a Kid’s Zone, design competitions, and a café, The Conservatory is located at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, Rt. 206 to 37 Plains Road, in Augusta. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Friday til 8 p.m. Admission is free for kids under 12; $8 for seniors, and $11 for adults. Thursday is senior day for $6.
