Horses and campers will descend on Lusscroft Farm to benefit restoration

A Benefit Trail Ride and Horse Camping Trip will be held at Lusscroft Farm in Wantage starting on Friday, Aug. 31 and ending on Monday, Sept. 3.
Bring a horse, chair, beverages and potluck meals to share.
There is a lighted horse barn with 15 stalls, turnout area, and water is available. Primitive camping area by horse barn with porta-john.
Relaxing noon trail rides, dinner by the campfire.
The Lusscroft trail system has well marked trails, and the Rail Trail, other historic trails, and rainy day activities are a short drive away.
Horse rig entrance is from County Route 519 at mile marker 81 (4-H Trail by the Stone Gatehouse).
Campers without horse are welcome to come and enjoy the evening campfire.
The cost is $45 for the weekend package.
Funds raised go to restoration efforts at Lusscroft and is presented by The Heritage and Agriculture Association, Inc., in cooperation with the NJ DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry.
