Holiday concert date set for Nov. 20

    SUSSEX COUNTY-The "Holiday American Pride" concert, which has entertained area residents for over a decade, will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, at the William McNeice Auditorium in Sparta. The event's proceeds will benefit the Karen Ann Quinlan Memorial Foundation's bereavement program. The Spirit of America Symphony Orchestra will perform holiday musical favorites and several patriotic selections. The evening's program will also include a special performance by the Kittatinny Regional High School Choirs under the direction of Musical Director Joseph Mello. John Matthews, producer of the event since its inception, states, "Over the years this concert has been considered by many to be the official introduction of the holiday season and is looked forward to with great anticipation. We expect this year's program to be better than ever, full of fun, exciting, and stirring musical selections. Thanks to the strong support of the community and businesses, we look forward to a successful event to benefit the programs and services of Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice."
