Vernon — The West Milford 13ers and its sister club, the Wild Wyanokie Wanderers, joined forces on Jan. 23 to raise money for the Tubbs “Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer” snow shoe walk and run, benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Wild Wyanokie Wanderers raised $2,300 and placed third in team fundraising despite not having a corporate sponsor. Team members also took second and third places in the snowshoe race, which was held at Mountain Creek in Vernon.
