Hellbenders play gazebo

LAKE HOPaTCONG — The Hellbenders Band performance has been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Victorian gazebo in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex. The Hellbenders are a Jefferson Township-based classic rock n’ roll band formed in 2006 by township residents Matt Attanasio and Jim Scognamiglio. With the addition of Lawrence BonForte on bass and Joe Cahayla on drums, The Hellbenders began playing local nightspots, playing the psychedelic-blues of the Yardbirds, Rolling Stones, The Who, the Grateful Dead and Neil Young. Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair to sit on; non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners and snacks are permitted on the grounds, unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. Everyone is asked to take their trash with them when they leave. The Jefferson Township Public Library is sponsoring this concert.
