Golf outing will benefit local charities

Lafayette — The Farmstead Golf & Country Club, located in Lafayette, will once again host the annual Joe Keslo Charity Golf Outing on May 26. The event is sponsored by SussexBank and many local Sussex County charities will benefit from the proceeds, including the American Cancer Society, the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, the Sussex Area Charities, Inc., the United Way of Sussex County, Saint Clare’s Hospital, Project Self Sufficiency, Sussex County Community College and selected students from every high school in Sussex County through educational scholarships. To date, over half a million dollars has been raised in charitable contributions during the 27 years that SussexBank has sponsored the outing. The $150 event donation includes green and cart fees, breakfast, luncheon, refreshment cart, awards dinner, hole-in-one prizes and numerous golf prizes.
