West Milford — You don’t have to go far to have fun, especially on Friday nights. The West Milford Elks Lodge #2236 is hosting Friday night dinners throughout the month with entertainment following. There are also some special events on other nights. Friday, March 5, 5 to 8 p.m. Dinner $10 followed by Karaoke with Stacy Friday, March 12, 5 to 8 p.m. Dinner $10 followed by George Slater’s open mic Saturday, March 13, 6:30 p.m. St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance $25 hosted by Elks Ladies Association. Dinner includes corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, Irish soda bread, dessert, wine, beer and soda. Dancing with DJ Friday, March 19, 5 to 8 p.m. Dinner $10 followed by Karaoke with Stacy Friday, March 26, 5 to 8 p.m. Dinner $10 followed by George Slater’s open mic. Saturday, March 27, Installation of 2010-2011 officers 8 p.m. to midnight, $25 Prime rib dinner and dancing, open bar 6:30 p.m. Ladies Association installation 7:30 p.m. Lodge officers installation The West Milford Elks Special Children’s Committee is raffling a white Kawasaki KFX90 ATV valued at $2,800.
