Couples massage workshop offered

Sparta — A couples massage workshop, including dinner, will be held at The Sparta Ambulance Building on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Couples will learn how to give and receive a relaxing, therapeutic body massage, using techniques that relieve stress and tension. The focus will be on scalp, face, neck, shoulders and back. Dana Salvador, founder of Dana’s Cos-Medic Institute, will facilitate the workshop. She has been in private practice for over 17 years, and is a licensed cosmetologist, certified massage therapist, and yoga instructor. The cost is $30. Pre-registration is required.
