Come meet a legend

Hewitt — Legendary trumpeter Joey Morant will be performing on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m. at Joey’s Casa Italiana. Morant is the last surviving member of the renowned Louis Armstrong Band. His music is a compilation of an illustrious career including performances with Paul McCartney, the late Les Paul and The Harlem Blues and Jazz Band. Playing old classics such as “Hello Dolly” and “Gigolo” as well as new creations, Morant will wow the crowd with his incredible musicianship and entertaining horn and vocal repertoire. Morant will be back on New Year’s Eve for a show starting at 9 p.m. He will also be available after the show to sign autographs and say hello to his West Milford fans.
