College presents Pirates of Penzance'

SUSSEX “Pirates of Penzance” will be presented the weekend of April 9 to 11 at the Performing Arts Center at Sussex County Community College. Under the direction of Dr. Peter Lubrecht, Pirates of Penzance, a musical by Gilbert and Sullivan, is the tale of love, piracy, absurdity, nobility and tuneful gaiety. The musical is the origin for the keystone cops’ of Mack Sennett. Showtimes are Friday, April 9 at 8 p.m; Saturday, April 10 at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, April 11 at 2 and 7 p.m. The cast includes SCCC students, alumni, staff and faculty, and members of the community.
