Belt Loop fair for Cubs

    Vernon — Boy Scout Troop 912 will host a Cub Scout Belt Loop Fair for all Vernon Cub Scouts on Friday, April 16 at Lounsberry Hollow Middle School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Two separate sessions will be offered allowing the Cubs to earn one or two belt loops that evening. The Boy Scouts themselves will be preparing and running the session with leader supervision, enabling younger Scouts to see how the responsibilities given to the older boys. Sessions offered this year include art, chess, geology, good manners, flag football, language and culture, astronomy, video games, communications, geography, ultimate and wildlife conservation.
