Auditions scheduled for ‘Scrooge'

Sparta — Cornerstone Playhouse will hold auditions for “Scrooge the Musical” on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28 and 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. The auditions will be held at the Lake Mohawk Country Club, at 21 the Boardwalk, in Sparta. Directed by Scott Mason with musical direction by Michael Yannuzzi, this holiday classic by Leslie Bricusse features many speaking roles and vocal roles for both children and adults. All roles are open and include all the Dickens favorites such as Scrooge, Tiny Tim and Marley, plus the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
