LAFAYETTE — Leon Castner and Brian Kathenes, nationally known antique experts and radio show hosts, will present a show about antiques, collectibles, and “other” stuff at “Betcha Didn’t Know That” at the Olde Lafayette Village hall on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Castner and Kathenes will share tips of their trade, secrets of finding hidden household treasure, and advice as to “what’s hot” in the collectibles world. Organizers said participants will also “get to see and touch something that Abraham Lincoln wrote as well as something that went to the moon.” Tickets are $25 which includes bringing one heirloom item to be examined that day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit CASA of Sussex County, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned children find a safe and permanent home. Pre-registration is required.
