Actors sought for upcoming performances

Audition tonight and Oct. 13 for anyone 16 or older NETCONG - Two auditions are forthcoming for the Growing Stage, The Children’s Theater of New Jersey at the Historic Palace Theater in Netcong. Tonight, Oct. 8, auditions will be held at 7 p.m. for its studio presentation series show, “Night of the Living Dead.” It will be performed in a staged, radio-style format with three roles for women, four for men, one for a young girl and a lot of roles for zombies. All auditioning will be reading from the script. Auditions are open for anyone 16 and older. The production will be under the direction Stephen Fredericks. Shows will be on Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m., auditions will be held for the theater’s production “The Story of the Nutcracker.” Auditions for young people age 10 to 13 will begin at 7 p.m. while young adults and adults will follow at 8 p.m. All auditions will include a dance piece led by the choreographer and a reading from the script.
