Nutmeg, the bloodhound connected to the Sussex County Sheriff's Department visited Wallkill Valley Girl Scout Troop 96849 to demonstrate her amazing skills at the Franklin Pond Recreation Area.

Detective Catherine Young, Nutmeg's handler, and PST Dispatcher Stephanie Benanti were able to demonstrate the skills required to be a successful team, talk to the girls about their careers, and show off Nutmeg's abilities to track.

Detective Young was able to explain to the girls how Nutmeg can be successful at tracking even if the trail she is following is a few days old! Both Detective Young and Dispatcher Benanti were great role models for the girls.
