Preschoolers at the Franklin Borough School have been learning what it takes to construct a building during their Building Study. After reading "The Three Little Pigs:, students learned how to plan and design homes to stay safe from the Big Bad Wolf.

Students brainstormed the materials and the design they could use to save the pigs from the wolf huffing and puffing and blowing their house down. After, students constructed their homes, they took turns reciting lines from the classic fable as the teachers attempted to "huff and puff and blow their houses down."

Students brainstormed ways to redesign their homes if they were unstable. All had fun sharing the story of the three little pigs and learning about the design process.
