CHARACTERISTICS
Winter was found in a box on the side of the road in Texas as a tiny puppy. She was rescued and brought to New Jersey, where she was adopted in October.
She was recently returned and her family was devastated, but they said Winter was not a good fit for them. She is a timid dog and was living with two young children and constant activity of a busy household. It was just too much for her, and they realized Winter needed a quieter environment.
Winter is very smart and picks up on energy. She responds well to confident humans. She is very affectionate and eager to please.

older children. She seems to like large dogs and should do well in a home with another confident doggie sibling. She does not like cats.
