Hardyston to hold kindergarten registration in March

Hardyston. Children in the Hardyston school district who will be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2021, are eligible to register for the 2021-2022 school year.

Registration will take place at Hardyston Middle School the week of March 1-5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day; and on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Appointments for the mandatory kindergarten screening will be scheduled at this time.

At the time of registration, parents and guardians will need to present the following:

● Child’s original birth certificate with raised seal

● Current immunization records

● Copy of a physical dated after Sept. 7, 2020

● Two forms of proof of residency. Acceptable forms of residency include: property tax bill, deed, lease agreement, mortgage statement, current utility bill. If you are living with a Hardyston Township resident, the owner must complete an “Application by a Resident” form and provide a copy of their deed and a current utility bill.
