The New Jersey Law Journal announced its 2019 Professional Excellence honorees. Among seven attorneys singled out as premier mentors in the state’s legal community was Andrew Fraser, a senior partner at Laddey Clark & Ryan, LLP.
Fraser, who is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Personal Injury Practice and the founder and leader of the Blue Suit Trial Strategies consultancy team, has 30 years of experience litigating personal injury cases, with a concentration in cases involving permanent damage to the spine. He has a long track record of significant verdicts, including more than a dozen cases that resulted in a verdict of more than $1 million in damages, with many in excess of $3 million.
Fraser, a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, obtained both the largest auto personal injury verdict in New Jersey and the largest products liability verdict in New Jersey. He and his team have developed a concentration in handling catastrophic elevator failure cases with recent verdicts of $2 million (Federal Court, Nevada), $3.98 million and $8.1 million (New Jersey).
Mr. Fraser was nominated for the mentor honor by Timothy Dinan, a younger partner who has worked with him throughout his legal career.
“The willingness to allow us to find our own answer and the value he places on our opinions is one of many reasons Andrew is such a great mentor,” says Dinan. “He genuinely takes pleasure in the success of the people he mentors and also recognizes the value of motivating us to become better attorneys and achieve similar success again.”
