Tea for two — married for 50 years and counting....

Last Friday, more than 30 couples — all married for 50 years or more — joined us PA Rep. Rosemary Brown's first-ever anniversary tea celebration. "It was truly a humbling sight to see all of these couples who have spent a lifetime together and hear of their experiences through the decades, as well as learn the secrets of keeping a marriage strong," Brown said. "Of those that joined us, Clara and Hubert McHugh were married the longest. They have been together for 67 years! They are pictured above with me." She thanks everyone who attended along with the Shawnee Fire Company No. 1 for hosting the celebration, and the Stroudsmoor Inn Towne and Café for providing each couple with a husband-and-wife cupcake and cookies.
