Ogdensburg native marries in Virginia

Samantha Elizabeth McCurry and Brandon Joseph Lewis, of Woodbridge, Va., were married Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. in Cape May. The Rev. Dr. Nicole Duran of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May officiated. Clair Carr served as a reader. Jacob Jorner, Dana McKenna and Chris Cortez were ushers.
Maid of honor was Kaitlyn Vandyk. Bridesmaids were Noelle Lewis, Tana McDonald, Katie Farley, Julianna Rollo, Ruthie Clay and Arnele Francis. Best man was Nicholas Lewis. Groomsmen were Michael McCurry, Ryan Allen, Daniel Goldfarb, Kevin Gonter, Gerard Long and Austin Redlich. Ibrahim Ghee served as ring bearer. A reception followed at 5:30 p.m. at Hotel Alcott in Cape May.
The bride, daughter of Phil and Sandy McCurry, of Ogdensburg, graduated from Wallkill Valley Regional High School in 2014, George Mason University in 2017 and is a current student at Antonin Scalia Law School in Arlington, Va.
The groom, son of Cheryl Lewis, of Unionville, N.Y., and Robert Lewis, of Jefferson, graduated from Jefferson High School in 2012 and the County College of Morris in 2014. He is employed by FH Furr in Manassas, Va.
The couple took a wedding trip to Barbados. They will now reside in Woodbridge, Va.
