Vernon. D.O.G.S. of Vernon to hold blessing

D.O.G.S. of Vernon will hold its first ever "Blessing of the Dogs" event on Sunday June 9, from 2-2:30 p.m. at Vernon Dog Park.
Attendees can come with their dogs for a special blessing to celebrate those who give warmth, love, and slobbery kisses. Pastor Connie Squire from United Methodist Church in Vernon will lead the blessing.
People can bring their dog, or a photo of a pet that they love or have loved. Dogs need to be on leash during the blessing. There is no fee for this event.
