On Saturday, May 11, Pack 298 and Troop 187 helped Franklin American Legion Post 132 place flags on graves in two local cemeteries,

Immaculate Conception Cemetery and North Hardyston Cemetery. Then later 7 of those scouts from Pack 298 made the trip to Westchester County Airport to welcome home the veterans on Honor Flight Mission 23.

These scouts started their day by remembering those veterans who have passed and the scouts ended the day with a small gesture to say thank you to a plane full of World War II, Korea and Vietnam veterans.
