Jesse Daniel Mateja

Jesse Daniel Mateja, 45, of Ogdensburg, New Jersey passed away at his home on March 21, 2019. Jesse was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey and lived in Wallington and Lancaster before moving to Ogdensburg 12 years ago. He received his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. He spent many years as a stay at home Dad but most recently worked as a manager at the Sparta Theatre. Jesse was a movie buff and an avid animal lover. He is survived by his beloved wife Amy (Ulrich) Mateja; devoted son Cooper; parents: Stanley and Sandra Mateja; in laws, Michelle and Arnold Ulrich; siblings Jamian, Jennifer, and Jillian and sister-in-law Kelly L’Heureux and her husband Marc. Friends are invited to celebrate Jesse’s life on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
