The Center for Prevention will provide the 30-hour Recovery Coach training, free of charge, in February.

The deadline to apply for participation in the class is Jan. 31, and a minimum of two years of abstinence based recovery is required. The Recovery Coach Academy, developed by CCAR (Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery), focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs.

To apply visit, www.clearprogram.org/recovery-coach-application. Please contact Katie at 973-940-2966 or katie@centerforprevention.org for more information.
