Scouts clean up Franklin pond area

FRANKLIN — Franklin Troop and Pack 90 spent the evening to clean up the Franklin Pond area and athletic fields.
The boys met at 5 p.m. and first we patrolled the fields and picked up the litter.
The cleanup was done shortly after the Franklin Carnival completed which combined with the consistent use of the fields for the athletic teams necessitated the need to do a cleanup more
than normal.
During our cleanup we were able to collect (8) 50 gallon garbage bags full of litter.
