Project Help is calling Artists to participate in “Visions in Black & White” art show and auction.
Project Help, a 501c3 charity, is hosting their signature fundraiser “Visions in Black & White”. This event is an art show and auction that will take place on Nov. 2, 2017.
About the event: “Visions in Black & White” will consist of framed art that portrays Patriotism done in black and white (grayscale). The art, in the form of photography, painting, sketch, charcoal or any farmable art, is welcome in the show.
The artists should have some lineage to a military person, directly or through marriage, even if it goes as far back as far as the Revolutionary War.
How it works: All art must submitted in digital format to start the process. It will all get uploaded to their bidding website beginning on Aug. 1, 2017, and all of the art will be able to be bid on. From there about 50 pieces will be selected for the silent auction and 10-15 will be selected for the live auction at the “Visions in Black & White” event on Nov. 2, 2017.
Artists will be paid a percentage of the sale no matter where it is sold. The rest will go to Project Help to support their “Hardship Grant Fund” and to support the “Mobile Closet” and job readiness project.
The goal: “We want to honor our military, veterans and artists at this event and online auction by promoting their talent, sharing their bio and raising funds to help our veterans during difficult times”, said Sandy Mitchell, Founder of Project Help.”
Artists can download the Prospectus from the website www.projecthelp.us/events.html or by sending an email to Sandy@mitchellclan and it will be sent directly to the artists who are interested in being part of this event. Artists should submit their completed prospectus as soon as possible to hold a spot in the show/auction.
Sponsorship is still available and more information about being a sponsor is available by contacting Sandy@mitchellclan.com or call 973-875-2068.
