Andrew Thomas Rodriguez of Hamburg, N.J., passed away on July 7, 2017, at home. He was 76 years old.
Born on June 14, 1941, in New York City, he was the son of Albert and Laura (Lopez) Rodriguez.
He was married to Barbara (McKiernan) Rodriguez.
Andrew served with the Army National Guard from 1961-68.
A union carpenter, he was a shop steward at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. He was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners Local #2287/Resilient Floor Coverers, retiring after 42 years.
He loved fishing, playing golf and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Rodriguez of Hamburg, N.J.; his son, Andrew Rodriguez of Slate Hill, N.Y.; his daughter, Laurie Demas of Little Falls, N.J.; stepsons: Hugh Cringle of Cabot, Arizona, and James Cringle of Warwick, N.Y.; step-daughter Bridget MacLagger of Clifton Park, N.Y.; a sister, Doris Asencio of Stephens City, Virginia; a brother Albert Rodriguez of New City, N.Y.; four step-grandchildren: Caitlin Cringle, Hugh Morgan Cringle, Owen Thomas MacLagger, and Logan Andrew MacLagger.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 13 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4024 Beaver Run Road, Hamburg, N.J.
Interment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Warwick, NY.
