Move, live, thrive is the mantra of Vernon Physical Therapy, the newly established business in the one of two sites of the Cider Mill area on Route 515.
Husband-and-wife physical therapists Sarah Spence and Andrew Martino each have impressive credentials in the areas of Kinesiology, the study of movement and manual manipulation. Both have post graduate certification and doctorates of Physical Therapy from St. Augustine College in Florida.
“We are manual therapists, working one on one, with the focus and goal always being to restore function and movement,” said Martino. “We don’t assign you exercises and disappear, we work with you through sessions.”
According to Spence, manual therapy works with non-active patients to marathon runner, from correction in walking to restoring joint mechanics to restoring functional movement.
“Specialties like age related balance and post-surgical cases, sports related concussion restoration are very much within our area of expertise,” explained Spence.
The newly renovated site of the former Snap Fitness gym offers a homey, calming and inviting atmosphere with relaxing manipulation tables, exercise machines and weights and a private room for more private therapy sessions.
Therapy sessions are appointment available on an extremely flexible schedule. The two therapists provide early morning and evening appointments as well as Saturday sessions.
“To the people of Vernon, we are open for business,” beamed Martino. “We are committed to giving a different, better experience in PT, getting people feeling better faster and exceeding their expectations.
Move, live, thrive.
