Thomas J. Shara, President and CEO of Lakeland Bank, announced the following appointments.

Robert Abraham has been hired as Senior Vice President, Team Leader, Asset Based Lending.

Joining Lakeland with more than 30 years of industry experience, he was most recently a First Vice President with IDB Bank in New York City. Prior to that, he was a vice president with Freed Maxick Asset Based Lending Services in NYC.

Abraham earned a master’s degree in finance and marketing from University of Hartford and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Ithaca College. He is the current chairman for the Commercial Finance League, a member of the N.Y. Association of Corporate Growth, a member of the Commercial Finance Association, and current secretary for the 475 Toppers Credit Club.

Abraham is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Garden State Credit Association, NY and NJ Society of CPAs, ACG CT, and the Contemporary Credit Club. Abraham resides in Cliffside Park, N.J.

William Allan has been hired as vice president, Commercial Loan Officer for the Bernardsville Lending Team.

Joining Lakeland with 30 years of industry experience, Allan was most recently a vice president, construction lending at 1st Constitution Bank in Cranbury, N.J.

Prior to that, he was a vice president at The Bank of Princeton in Princeton, N.J. He earned a master’s degree in finance from Pace University and a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University. Allan resides in Manalapan, N.J.

Tony Creanza has been hired as Vice President, Relationship Manager for the Teaneck Commercial Lending Team.

Creanza joins Lakeland with 28 years of banking experience and was most recently a Vice President, Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking with TD Bank in Ramsey, N.J. covering Bergen and Rockland counties.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from State University of New York-College at New Paltz and a master’s degree from Washington University-John M. Olin School in St. Louis, Mo. Creanza is a Cub Scouts den leader and resides in Warwick, N.Y.
