High Point to host NJIEEA site visit

    High Point Regional High School will host a New Jersey Technology and Engineering Educator's Association site visit on March 30 from 5-8 p.m.
    Attendees will experience first hand the facilities, programs, curriculum, personnel, and students instrumental in the development and strength of High Point’s Department of Technological Studies.  
    For over 10 years, the department has been recognized as a local, state, and national leader in Technology Education, twice being recognized by the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association as National Program of the Year (2006, 2014).
    The evening will include dinner, a department overview and history, and then a rotation of insightful presentations by our teachers and students that will highlight initiatives like: Livestream in Media Technology, Collaborative STEM units of study, Real Student Engagement with Rapid Prototyping and 3D printing, Cutting edge curricular growth in Video Game Design and Virtual Reality.
    Attendees will leave with access to new project ideas, recommendations for how to better brand and promote a program, and with a network of contacts equipped to answer unique and diverse questions about how to grow Technology Education and STEM in New Jersey.
