The Ogdensburg School will have a shopping market and will be accepting donations for the marketplace on Dec. 3 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Leanne Paolazzi, school psychologist and organizer for the event, said that the reason for the shopping market is to give families the ability to get new or like new items they need. In addition, they can give them as Christmas gifts and to encourage going green by recycling, reusing items and raising money for our students.
Many new and gently used items will be for sale including children and adult books for 25 cents, all DVDs - $1 board games, $1 and video games for $1.
Shopping for the Ogdensburg School families starts at 8:30 a.m. and open to the public at 10 a.m.
Paolazzi said all of the money will go to the families and students of Ogdensburg School. Paolazzi stated that donations are needed to make this a success.
Drop off books, DVDs, video games, board games, toys, electronics, kitchenware, small furniture, decorations and baby equipment. Feel free to donate Christmas and holiday items also. No stuffed animals or clothes accepted.
Donation time drop-off: Small items can be dropped off in the breezeway during school hours starting on Monday, Nov. 28, larger donations can be dropped off between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2
