Podcast reaches download milestone

| 14 Nov 2016 | 04:18

The Create Your Own Life Podcast just reached 100,000 downloads in under a year.
Host Jeremy Ryan Slate started the show as a way for entrepreneurs to help create life on their own terms.
The show was inspired after Slate had a heated conversation with his father following his decision to resign from his teaching career. After receiving his undergraduate degree in religious studies and master’s degree in classical history, Slate was on a path he was beginning to regret. During the conversation with his father, Slate came to the conclusion he was going to create his own life and not pursue a nine-to-five career, thus giving birth to the podcast.
Slate interviews industry experts, like the original Shark Tank judge Kevin Harrington, sales expert Grant Cardone, singer Matisyahu, former New York Giants player Steve Weatherford and UGG Founder Brian Smith, to get into the heart of what success really means to them. He covers topics like sales, online branding, product development and even the basic step of finding your own purpose.
The show has been featured on television and print, in publications like INC. Magazine and Huffington Post. It has seen global renown and has been downloaded in 165 different countries.
