Carmen Louise Ganz

    Carmen Louise Ganz, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s at Bristol Glen Care Center in Newton, NJ. Born on April 2, 1936, Carmen was raised in Manhattan, N.Y., later moving to Stockholm, N.J., to raise her family.
    Carmen was devoted to her family and her life was focused around her children and grandchildren, providing constant unconditional love and kindness. Carmen was known for her gentle soul, never complaining, only speaking kind words and always greeting everyone with a warm and welcoming smile.
    Carmen is predeceased by her parents, Belen and Gonzalo, a sister, Belen “Cookie” Martinez and a brother, Henry Monge and the love of her life, Raymond J. Ganz, Jr. who died in 2014. Carmen is survived by her son, Raymond J. Ganz, III and his wife, Pattie, their children, Desiree, Olivia and Eric, and her daughter, Jennifer Reickman and her husband, Bart and their children, Shayna, Jade and Jenna.
    The family received their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, N.J., on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Graveside service will be Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., N.J.
