Mountain Creek Bike Park expanding beginner terrain

VERNON — Mountain Creek Bike Park is rapidly expanding beginner terrain this season, making the sport of mountain biking easier and fun to learn for riders of all ages.
After seeing the success of Greenhorn, their newest top to bottom beginner trail, Mountain Creek has continued to build more terrain that focuses on giving kids and beginners a fun and safe way to get into the sport of mountain biking. Mountain Creek’s newest addition is Trax Beginner Bike Park, which opened on July 7.
Trax Beginner Bike Park is located on Mountain Creek’s Great Lawn at the base of the Sky View Gondola and is the perfect place for anyone from a 2-year-old on a kick bike to an adult looking to get into mountain biking. Trax will give you the safe start you need to build up your skills to get you on the mountain faster.
“Our goal is for kids and beginners alike to feel comfortable while learning the fundamentals and fall in love with this lifelong sport. Anyone can learn to bike or practice their skills in this safe and fun environment with our experienced instructors.” said Director of Resort Operations, Jason Bays.
