    Donna Jo Cross died Friday, July 15, 2016, at White Plains Hospital, White Plains, N.Y. Beloved sister, friend and teacher and devoted believer in Christ. Donna was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on March 22, 1953, to Joseph Robert and Jean Kurtz Cross.
    She was a lifetime teacher at both St Mathew Lutheran School and the Manhattan Christian Academy both in Manhattan. Donna was also a Co-Director of F.L.O.C.K. a non-profit providing learning resources since 1994. Donna was a graduate of Valparaiso University in 1975 earning her BS degree of Education and was recently Certified in the Wilson Reading Program. She enjoyed books, music, skiing, theater & travel.
    Donna is survived by her brother Gordon Cross & his wife Renea of Hamburg, N.J.; brother Craig Cross and his wife Susan of Key Largo, Fla., and sister Karen Vitols and her husband, Imants of Woodstock, Vt. Nephews: Joseph Cross & his wife Ashley of Montague, N.J.; Andrew & Matthew Cross of Hamburg, N.J.; Karl Vitols & his wife Andrea Herrington of Vershire, Vt. Nieces: Sarah Cross , of Hamburg, N.J. and Emily Vitols of Woodstock, Vt. Great nephew; Tovahn Vitols and great niece Liba Vitols of Vershire, Vt.
    Visitation was held at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, N.J., on Monday July 18, 2016, from 2-4 p.m.; 7-9 p.m. and a celebration of her life will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 37 Newton-Sparta Road in Newton NJ on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 1 p.m. Cremation is private.
