Sheriff's Office serves 19 child-support warrants

NEWTON — The Sussex County Sheriff's Office served 19 warrants to those who owe child support and collected more than $6,000 during a three-day sweep from Feb. 2-4.
The amount owed in the county was $472,730.
The county's sweep was done in conjunction with the Sheriff's Association of New Jersey's Non-Support sweep. IN all, a total of 1,221 warrants were served and approximately $224,088.36 was collected. T
he total amount of money owed on the warrants was $25,390,459.66.
