Last weekend, the two-day Franklin-Sterling Gem & Mineral Show celebrated its 59th year by operating one of the largest gem and mineral shows in northern New Jersey.

Held at the Franklin Elementary School, the show boasted more than 40 dealers with the school’s gymnasium fully packed and dozens more vendors outside the school.

The show offered a wide variety of items for sale including gems, mineral specimens of all kinds, fine and costume jewelry, lapidary items, books, and mining artifacts including a trailer-mounted mining wagon.
