County libraries plan reading programs

NEWTON — The first full week in July is also the first week of active reading for Summer Reading Programs at the Sussex County Libraries.

"Every Hero Has A Story" for children 6 months through third grade, "Unmask" for grades 4-6, and "Escape the Ordinary" for teens and adults. A variety of programs, from learning whether heroes have good manners to what makes a superhero fly, provide something for every age and interest.

Library patrons of all ages can also track their reading for raffle tickets toward prizes being awarded in each age group.
